From the xCenta Dashboard, click on the Employees New icon in the modules section.



A new window will appear. Select the employee from the dropdown box you wish to assign the course to.



Select the Red Hat icon for E-Learning. Select Outstanding to view training and to add new.



Scroll down and click the Add New + button to select courses.



A new tab will appear. Select the Course you wish to allocate from the dropdown list.



The Start Date and End Date indicates to the user how long they have to complete the course.


The Expiry Date indicates how long the course is valid for. For example, 36 months will indicate that 3 years after completion of the course, a new course will need to be reassigned.


The Auto Reassign Failed Course In determines the start date of the new course following a failure of the course. If left as Do Not Reassign, a new course will not be reassigned automatically if the user fails the course.


Maximum Number of Resits controls how many attempts can be made when trying to complete a course. By default it will be set to three, meaning after three attempts trying to pass the course, it will send an email to the Training Manager and not allow you to have anymore attempts.


The notifications are to control which individuals are notified on completion. Immediate Manager will notify the user that is set up as the Reports To for the particular user. Human Resources are based on the permissions under the Human Resources category. Training Manager will notify any user with the ability to assign a course.


Then click the Green Save button.
